Regular Adjectives In German

These are positive and negative adjectives that don’t have comparative and superlative forms that change. For example, the comparative and superlative form of nett is netter and am nettesten respectively as compared to that of gut which is besser and am besten. Some examples are listed below;

Irregular Adjectives In German

This category of adjectives on the other hand have modification in their comparative and superlative forms that are totally different from their basic forms. They are mostly one-syllabic adjectives with any of the Monophthong vowels “a, o and u” which change to their umlaut counterpart in the comparative and superlative forms. Some examples are;
